biography

Dr. Myers is a Clinical Instructor of Emergency Medicine, practicing at U.W. Northwest Hospital. She rapidly assesses and stabilizes seriously ill patients and coordinates care as they are transferred into the ICU or acute care units. She strives to thoroughly yet rapidly identify patients who do not require hospitalization, coordinate aftercare for them, and ensure they understand the diagnosis and treatment plan. She has a M.S. in Soil Microbiology from the University of Florida, M.D. from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. She completed Internship and Residency in Emergency Medicine at Cook County Hospital in Chicago. She chose to locate in the Pacific Northwest to be close to family and take advantage of the wonderful outdoor recreation.
