biography

Shani Xaylavong, MD, is a Clinical Instructor of Emergency Medicine at the University of Washington Northwest campus in Seattle, Washington. Dr. Xaylavong completed her residency in Emergency Medicine at Regions Hospital in Saint Paul, Minnesota in 2010. Following residency, she worked in Maplewood, Minnesota before joining Northwest Hospital in 2013.

Dr. Xaylavong participates in the Emergency Preparedness Committee and previously assisted with central line certification for emergency physicians. Dr. Xaylavong focuses on providing excellent, compassionate, and efficient emergency care to a diverse population.

Dr. Xaylavong enjoys the outdoors including hiking, camping, skating, boating, and traveling with her family.
