The Emergency Medicine Scholars Program (EMSP) is a funded program designed to provide a broad, month-long educational experience within the UW Department of Emergency Medicine for exceptional fourth-year medical students from a broad range of those who are under-represented in medicine.
This program has been designed to provide a structured means of receiving non-UW faculty, fellows, and occasionally senior residents, from outside the United States, who have identified specific interests related to areas of expertise within the University of Washington Department of Emergency Medicine.
