Population Health Residency Pathway

Under the leadership of the Section's Director of Education, Dr. Shah, we have created three areas of focus within the Population Health Pathway: Global Health, Rural Health, and Social Emergency Medicine. All areas of focus are tailored to the residents' interests and faculty mentorship opportunities, with a longitudinal curriculum woven throughout the four year residency program.

Residents will have the opportunity to engage in coursework through the DGH as well as choose from a variety of international clinical sites with established NGOs or University sister sites around the world.

Global Scholars Program

In order to support the Department of Emergency Medicine’s growing footprint domestically and abroad, the Department has created the Global Scholar’s Program (GSP).
