Eric Nussbaum, MD

Dr. Nussbaum, a native of Chicago and graduate of Rush Medical College travelled in 1992 to Los Angeles for Residency King/Drew Medical Center in South Central Los Angeles. He worked in Los Angeles at South Bay Hospital before returning Chicago to work in various community hospitals from the Highland Park, Park Ridge, and Skokie, to Blue Island and Oak Park.

While working clinically he has fulfilled the administrative roles of EMS Director, Associate Chairman, Department Chairman, and various Medical Staff Officer roles up to Vice President of Staff, and interim CMIO. His experience gives him insight into medical staff interaction and caring for underserved populations. Additionally he has served as an administrator for a small private ER group giving insight into contract management and maintenance. In his off time he enjoys hiking snowboarding.
