He cares for patients in the University of Washington Medical Center Northwest Campus Emergency Department. He strives to accurately diagnose and disposition patients who present to the emergency department. Dr. Hook attended Stanford University and graduated with a B.S. in Biological Sciences. He then attended and graduated from medical school at the University of Wisconsin - Madison School of Medicine and Public Health. He graduated with honors and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha honorary medical society. He completed his PGY 1 year at Legacy Good Samaritan Hospital in Portland, Oregon. He then completed his PGY 2 & 3 years as an emergency medicine resident at Stanford University Medical Center in Stanford, California. He is board certified in emergency medicine and was elected as a Fellow in the American College of Emergency Physicians (FACEP).
