Competitive starting salary at $91,000 per year

EDUCATIONAL DEGREE OPTIONS

Certificate Courses

All fellows receive full funding for both of these certificate courses:

  • HRIC Humanitarian Response Course:
    • 2 weeks, Boston MA; course fully funded
  • Introduction to Social Medicine Course:
    • Within the first quarter of the fellowship, our fellows attend a 10-day course affiliated with Partners In Health to learn principles of social medicine and become familiar with the work of this non-profit. Courses are held on-site in Haiti or Mexico.

Fellows also receive full funding towards a degree program:

  • MPH tuition for distance MPH through the London School of Tropical Medicine; fully funded

OR

  • GORGAS Course (9 weeks, Lima Peru) tuition for DTM&H degree; fully funded

Also Included

  • 5K additional academic enrichment funds available for travel, research, and other educational experiences  
  • Travel, housing, and car provided for rural Alaska portions
  • Support for evacuation insurance, international travel, and housing at field sites
