biography

Dr. Murphy is an emergency physician and EMS medical director. He cares for patients in the Emergency Department at Harborview Medical Center and serves as an Associate Medical Director for King County EMS and Associate Medical Director for the UW Paramedic Training Program. He strives to improve the care of critically ill patients in the prehospital and emergency department settings. Dr. Murphy has a broad range of clinical interests pertaining to emergency care, with specific research interests in cardiac arrest resuscitation, airway management, trauma, and socioeconomic drivers of health outcomes.
