Competitive starting salary at $91,000 per year

EDUCATIONAL DEGREE OPTIONS
Certificate Courses
All fellows receive full funding for both of these certificate courses:
- HRIC Humanitarian Response Course:
- 2 weeks, Boston MA; course fully funded
- Introduction to Social Medicine Course:
- Within the first quarter of the fellowship, our fellows attend a 10-day course affiliated with Partners In Health to learn principles of social medicine and become familiar with the work of this non-profit. Courses are held on-site in Haiti or Mexico.
Fellows also receive full funding towards a degree program:
- MPH tuition for distance MPH through the London School of Tropical Medicine; fully funded
OR
- GORGAS Course (9 weeks, Lima Peru) tuition for DTM&H degree; fully funded
Also Included
- 5K additional academic enrichment funds available for travel, research, and other educational experiences
- Travel, housing, and car provided for rural Alaska portions
- Support for evacuation insurance, international travel, and housing at field sites
