Dr. Srinivasan recognized with NCS Presidential Citation

We are proud to share that Dr. Vasisht Srinivasan has received the Neurocritical Care Society’s Presidential Citation, celebrating his leadership, mentorship, and dedication to advancing education and innovation within the field. It is his second time receiving the award.
Reflecting on the honor, Srinivasan shared: “I’m honored to receive the Presidential Citation from the Neurocritical Care Society. This recognition reflects the shared efforts of many colleagues committed to advancing our field, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to contribute.
“NCS has shaped my professional growth and provided a large community of amazing mentors, collaborators and friends. It has been an important professional home for me, and this award reinforces my commitment to supporting its mission and the broader neurocritical care community.”
At the recent NCS Annual Meeting, Srinivasan directed the POCUS Workshop, the Society’s annual ultrasound course that equips physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, trainees, and students with essential imaging skills. This year, the workshop featured a new focus on cranial ultrasound, which was met with enthusiastic feedback from participants.
In addition to leading this cornerstone program, Srinivasan served as Co-Chair of the Ultrasound Section and contributed as a co-author to a POCUS poster presentation.
Congratulations, Dr. Srinivasan!
