Dr. Callan Fockele recently received funding for her study titled “Implementation of Contingency Management and the Community Reinforcement Approach in Permanent Supportive Housing for Residents who Use Methamphetamine.” Sponsored by the UW Addictions, Drug & Alcohol Institute (ADAI), Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences, and running from 01/16/2022 - 01/15/2023, the objective of this implementation study is to examine how contingency management coupled with the community reinforcement approach (CM+CRA) can be integrated into permanent supportive housing for residents who use methamphetamine. This work will provide preliminary data needed for future grant proposals to evaluate CM+CRA in permanent supportive housing using an effectiveness-implementation hybrid design.
