The University of Washington Medical Center- Montlake has been honored with the prestigious ELSO Platinum Award for Excellence in Life Support, the highest recognition given by the Extracorporeal Life Support Organization.

This award recognizes extracorporeal life support (ECLS) programs that demonstrate exceptional standards in patient care, innovation, and system-wide excellence in extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO).
