Sarah Stucky Receives UW Levinson Emerging Scholars Award

Sarah StuckySarah Stucky, a University of Washington undergraduate student and Research Assistant in the Department of Emergency Medicine, received the Levinson Emerging Scholars Award in October 2022. This competitive award supports outstanding UW undergraduate student-researchers who show the potential to innovate and enrich the future of their field in advanced biomedical science. The grant includes funding to support the student’s ongoing research and travel to present their findings at a professional conference. Ms. Stucky will be examining the role of cytoskeletal proteins in platelet dysfunction among trauma patients under the mentorship of Dr. Alexander St. John. Only ten students are selected for this honor each year. Congratulations, Sarah!
